We started the "Camino" here. They were very accommodating when it came to receiving and storing our rental bikes (they arrived 1 day earlier). They allowed us to set up in the parking spot while we tried our best not to block the way. Would definitely come back on my next visit to Pamplona.

It had everything we needed and the lady checking us in was so nice. We arrived on Sunday so there were no food services, but the grocery store was open. We got supplies for dinner and breakfast. The showers were clean and the water was good! It was a great stay!

I didn't get a good feeling from Pamplona, the town was run down and seemed to be partly under construction, Lots of attractions fenced off.
Also I had a few questionable encounters when trying to go to restaurants and bars ( I was polite and had not had anything to drink)
A few places just told me they were shut when they were stood outside with beers. and there was general feeling of not being keen on tourists

The castle & surrounding buildings off the main square are definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately, we arrived late & castle entrance had just closed (1900hrs) - plenty of choices to eat & drink. Not all bars speak English as you would expect, but they were helpful & spoke slowly in Spanish to help!!

Estella is on the route of the Camino de Santiago and packed with history. It is a shame we visited on a Sunday and Monday, when ther museums and monasteries were closed. It is a perfect town for walking everywhere.

It is a charming little town with historic buildings in the centre. They are quite high and offer a lot of welcome shade in the summer. There are plenty of bars and small food places and a couple of bigger restaurants.
It's close to A-12 motorway but you can hardly hear it. Close to Pamplona and other interesting villages.
Parking is on the outskirts of the village and the village itself is not over-run by vehicles which made it a pleasant walk around town.

Beautiful town. Fabulous river and weir. Plenty of good bars and restaurants. Be aware that the last Friday & Saturday of October is the Winter Fair (Feria). Restaurants are totally booked for lunch and dinners on both days. Best to make reservations well in advance. Surrounding Elizondo is amazing scenery and plenty of places to visit. Elizondo Town is easy to walk around.

It is a Jewel in Camino de Santiago.
The best is just walk through the streets and get lost finding all amazing historical treasures this city offers. From its magnificent Church of Santa María (with so many treasures including the burial of Cesra Borgia), but with its amazing welcoming flare, wee you can find a place to sit to pray, admire or just have a moment of solace and peace.
The Plaza Mayor, the old Walls and Church, the Monastery, the houses and their balconies, the restaurants and the vibrant life in the Calle Mayor.
