Amazing cabbin to enjoy Finnish nature ! It was very well equipped and the whole group enjoyed the facilities! hope to return😍 be aware that this is a traditional mökki (cabbin) and there’s no running water or water in toilets ( there’s a traditional outside toilet) but for us was not a problem!

Everything was simply perfect. By the lakeside, in the woods, with a campfire place and also a sauna overlooking the lake. The hosts, Mika & Meeri, are amazing and hospitable. They make you feel at home immediately giving you a short tour of the place and are there to assist with whatever you want. The location is 45 mins drive from Rovaniemi Airport, but everything is so scenic and the moment you enter the vicinity you feel you've come home far away from the hustle bustle of a chaotic city life. If you feel like you want more space for a larger group, then you do have the option to go for an extra cabin on the spot at a nominal price and you can even order homemade food if you're too tired to cook upon arrival. Will definitely love to come back to this property for a longer duration. Other sites close by to visit is The Ranua Wildlife Park and Korouoma National Reserve Hike. There are more activities provided by the hosts themselves, and they just live next door whenever you need them. Even though they do live next door just a few steps away, they never try to intrude or interfere. And just like your grandparents, they do check on you at regular intervals so that you don't feel lost or lonely.

Hennas and Jarnos beautiful cottage in the midst of the lappish Winterwonderland was a very comfortable base for our family of 5. The hosts are very responsive and gave us lots of information for our planned activities and more. A supermarket and filling station close by plus sledges, a garden and forest surrounding the property made this location perfect for us between Rovaniemi and Ranua. We had a wonderful time and certainly recommend it!

Merja and Jari were friendly, always available when needed, even in the midnight when we had issues with electricity, Jari was receptive and came to fix it.✅ Location was fabulous, we had amazing sunrises, quite and traditional atmosphere 😍 The kitchen was well equipped, we had all the dishes so we could cook, also outside we did fish as Jari recommended. We were not lucky with aurora, however the time spent in the villa was unforgettable. Special thanks to the hosts, they were absolutely awesome!

Our stay in this wood cabin in Lapland was truly unforgettable. One of the highlights was the fantastic sauna—perfect after a day outdoors and exactly what you hope for in this part of the world. The location is absolutely stunning, set right by a peaceful lake, with hiking trails starting directly from the cabin. We were incredibly lucky to see the northern lights dancing right above the cabin and reflecting over the lake, a magical moment we’ll never forget. What made the experience even more special were the amazing hosts: warm, generous, and genuinely welcoming. They took us ice fishing and then welcomed us back home with a chance to try homemade salmon soup, which was the perfect ending to an already incredible day. This place is something truly special, and we would come back in a heartbeat.
