Very very spacious and well-furnished house. It is equpped with everything you need for spending weekend on North: sauna, fireplace, stove (which can be used for heating), also all modern facilities as a side-by-side fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, drying machine, dishwaher, two toilets, modern TV, interent connection, two type of water supply (which is very important while you stay on North where -30 frost can freeze everything). House is well located: very far from any other houses - there is a total silent around, rahter far from road with a 1 car/hour traffic, and very picteresque view on Kemi river. Bonus - if you are fond of jumping in a snow after sauna, both entrance doors (main one and bedrom's) leads to nobody's eyes which keeps you privacy even outside :) Host is very responsible: repaired partial water supply outage very quickly and called to auto assistance sevices to find the solution for our frosted AdBlue :) Waiting for my next winter vacation to visit Lapland and this house again!

Excellent place to enjoy being right on the river, even from inside the cottage if it's too cold to go outside for long. Owners have made sure that the cottage has everything plus, to ensure guests have an easy and enjoyable stay. Outside decks are large and have different areas with seating. Sauna with shower is fantastic. Intend coming back again and staying longer than 2 nights. The bedroom area upstairs has a low roof, which was a bit challenging for us as we are no longer the youngest. Lovely host, lovely place. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, charming, and sweet accommodation in a great location. The proximity to the train is amazing as it is just a few steps away from the platform and yet the room is quiet and super easy to navigate. The cafe is delightful, breakfast is lovely, coffee is solid, and the gift shop is great with local items and handicrafts. Definitely the best place to stay in Kemi.

a touch of vintage decor clean and tidy staffs helpful and zealous breakfast is good and the decor of place i have breakfast is so vintages including the 　tableware. i like a quite location to station is like 10 mins walk but when it snows. it’s not gonna be ok and call a cab is like 10euro i check out 6:00 in the morning and can’t enjoy the breakfast. staff prepare a to-go-breakfast for me. it’s so thoughtful though can’t compare with those 4-5stars. staying here somehow feels like home. i guess thanks to all the staff that make you feels like home
