- The hotel location was very secluded, in the middle of a forest and out of nowhere. Don't expect to find local stores/shops, cafes/restaurants or gas stations within 5 km. The nearest one was Lieksa town about 30km from the hotel. - The exterior was old as well as the interior. Nonetheless, it looks like the owner has tried slowly to renew everything to make a good impression on his guests. The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and the TV worked as it should. The cleanliness was also superb. - The owner greeted his guests and was very helpful in giving information about the surrounding area. - The hotel has facilities to do activities indoors or outdoors. They also have a sauna and swimming pool to use.

The location is not far from Koli National park and you can also book a horseback riding from them (if you wish, too- they have icelandic horses!). The property is ideal for anyone (solo traveler, couple, family, and friends) who would like to visit Koli. Also, the hosts are very friendly and very attentive.

A small camping in the forest. Be noticed that you can not park you car next to a cabin, but leave in parking place. Everything is clean and looks quite new. You have to book a sauna time at arrival and you have to take care of sauna self. It is really easy. Camping is very eco-friendly.

Clean, modern, GREAT facilities. An amazing relief after two years of horrible hotels (unclean, old, carpeted floors) in the US. Saw cleaning too and they seemed to have enough time to properly clean rooms and change glasses etc, wonderful. The restaurant has an amazing selection of vegan breakfast items.
