Kätkä Lake Lodge is truly a magical place! We really enjoyed our stay here and honestly, the lodge was our favorite stay during our week long trip to Finland. Firstly, Mikko, the owner is a fantastic host. Always there to answer our questions and really appreciated his help/comments regarding road conditions before we got there. Second, if you are looking for a place that provides peace and tranquility, the lodge is it. We really enjoyed snowshoeing on the trail across the way, it made me so happy! The breakfast options were great as well - lots to choose from. My friend is vegetarian and she enjoyed the spread as well. Kiitos very much Mikko!

Everything. The villa was very clean and everything we needed for our stay was provided. The hosts were amazing from start to finish. We went ice fishing and snow mobiling with them and our boys were ecstatic about it. The little touches they provided were outstanding. They made us feel part of their family

I loved the location! Quiet and away from city! We loved staying at the old pine husky lodge! We enjoyed the restaurant with its amazing Italian food and salmon soup! The huskies made our stay more fun! The staff was great and accommodating and the activities they planned for us made for a trip of a lifetime! We would stay here again!
