Amazing location, and very polite and helpful staff. Good breakfast and lovely place for coffee. We rented snowshoes and went around. We saw here the most beautiful aurora.

Wonderful staff, and a beautiful location. The sauna facilities were excellent, and the staff was willing to keep them hot for us as we had arrived at the time they were going to be turned off.

The skiing was very family friendly and worked for most...

The skiing was very family friendly and worked for most skill levels. The lighting at new years made it special to ski in the dar or later at night, but with only 2 hours of sunshine at this time of year, most of the skiing is at low light. We did have fantastic sunsets. The resort itself is very highly maintained, and the slopes were well looked after and at even -20'C we didn't experience much Ice. The side we stayed at with the Saaga Hotel is probably the quieter side and so ideal for just a few days. If We ere going for longer we would now book the other Lapland hotel as there are more restaurant choices that side, especially with more adults in the group. We used Lapland Safaris to do a family snowmobile trip and whilst expensive it was a full day and great fun. Our guide was great and we visited the snow village which is a must just to see the artistic snow carvings

One of the calmest places I’ve been to!

One of the calmest places I’ve been to! It’s featuring beautiful landscape and very few people (we were outside of the high season). There are a lot of attractions such as snowmobiles, skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks - a lot of them! Also, there are a lot of options for activities such as dog sledges 😉 one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to, definitely recommend!

Easy access by plane from Belgium; direct flight - perfect! Perfect service at the airport from the car rental company; our car was already warmed (-25C outside when we arrived). Ylläsjärvi is a beautiful place with lots of good cross country skiing tracks and possibility for downhill skiing as well. Worth visiting especially if one adores nature and quiet!

The overall experience of this place is excellent.

The overall experience of this place is excellent. The hotel itself, staff, services and offers inside the hotel. We were very satisfied with our holiday in this place. Various recreational opportunities. Looking forward to returning to Lapland and to this hotel.

We loved our stay in this chalet. Lots of space and storage, plenty kitchen utensils. Very close to slopes. Also there is an option to use hotel facilities if needed. We found our stay comfortable. It was easy to get in touch with a host. Host was very helpful and responded promptly to my messages.

This hotel is in an exceptional area of natural beauty. The hotel staff were very accommodating. There was a good choice for breakfast and the amount provided was very good. The evening meal was of a standard you would see in a major city - exceptional.
