A gem of a place in a quiet village.

A gem of a place in a quiet village. Excellent staff who really looked after us. An amazing dining experience, having just spent 2 weeks in the South of France enjoying beautiful food this was one of the eating highlights of our trip. Great wine too. The bed linen was of very high quality and an extremely comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

This is a place which we have discovered 3 years ago and we are visiting this hotel each year for a couple of nights.It is in a small village which you can hike or bike. Sit at the terrace of the hotel and have your drink with only the voice of the nature. If you are looking for a quiet place with great foot , then this is the location. The dinner is amazing. Menu is changing seasonally I believe and chef is creating miracles. The hotel restaurant is worth to change the route.

The bedroom was basic, and the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, but the 2 ladies on duty looked after us very well and managed to concoct 2 vegetarian meals for us for dinner. The hotel is in a very quiet village, off the beaten track, in an attractive part of the country. Nothing to do in the evening, but that was fine for us as we were just passing through for one night en route to the south.

Hotel du Roy is in a lovely village. It offers very good value for money, especially the 30 euro set menu. The staff, without exception, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room, recently refurbished, had some nice designer touches. I felt very welcome.

Charming country hotel with restaurant, bar, terrace and garden. Our room on the top floor was comfortable with ensuite facilities, walk in shower. Dinner was excellent, breakfast was adequate. Ample parking around the back.
