It’s difficult to express in words how special of an experience staying at the House of Nostradamus is. From the moment you walk in, the energy is amazing, so inviting and full of love. Richard is equally special- he is so knowledgeable on Nostradamus and the area surrounding Alet Les Bains. Despite our late arrival, Richard cooked us a delicious dinner of locals recipes and shared stories of Nostradamus and the magical land. History buffs and people on spiritual journeys will not be disappointed. My friend and I stayed for two nights. Both rooms are incredibly comfortable, the house full of museum artifacts and paintings. Waking up in the ancient town center under the soft linens and canopy bed frame, opened something deep inside of me and I have not been the same. I’ve been to plenty of sacred places, the House of Nostradamus is a powerful portal for those who are ready to transcend into a higher version of themselves. Thank you, Richard for your gracious hospitality!

From the moment you meet the host, Richard, you will feel welcome. He is a fantastic historian of the area and is happy to chat about it or give you space to explore. The house itself has a storied history, which adds to the experience. The room I stayed in was well appointed, the bed was comfortable, and linens were cozy. Breakfast was served with the utmost attention to quality. You will be treated to fresh local baguette, croissants, jams, butter, and honey. Additionally juices are made in house (I was treated to apple and pineapple during my stay). The small village of Alet-les-bains is quiet yet full of magic, as is the Madison Aleteia. I’m already planning my next stay.
