This is a cozy hotel, located above the city yet very close to it. The crew is amazing, it felt like home for us. The breakfast is fantastic and the bed is comfortable. The outdoor spa area is great.

It was great stay! Very good location, ski in and out , comfortable room, room for the equipment, very good breakfasts , the dinner course was also good , we took once and the menu is good , in other days we ordered form the menu, tasty with options, great helpful staff , willing to help and service with smile. The bar and other facilities were good. The team helps you with the equipment and if you need with special jeep on snow. Julie , Ludivine, Kevin, Tedy , the girls and boys on kitchen and bar , very friendly and helpful. Thank you! Will come back :)

The Restaurant is the star here! The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the food was genuinely out of this world, easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. The hotel itself was great: comfortable, well run, and set in an incredible location. The views were absolutely to die for and added so much to the overall experience. A wonderful place to stay, especially if you appreciate exceptional food alongside stunning scenery.

When I arrived at the hotel, I did not have my wallet ( money ) at all, but the person at the hotel were very very kind and helpful, even tried to solve the situation. After somehow we figured it out the situation, I was able to check in. I ate dinner at the place. The dinner was very nice. I really enjoyed homemade jam, local cheese and Genepi. I asked some questions about local traditions, history, etc. He answered everything and I learned Bourg-Saint-Maurice a lot.

There's a huge subterranean car park, with lifts into the accommodation above, but the town is car-free. You have a good choice of bars and restaurants, from cheap pizzas to high-end steak, a Carrefour supermarket, and everywhere is literally ski in, ski out. Plus it's in an absolutely vast ski system, at altitude, so you get reliably good snow even late season. You don't get better than this.

Les Arcs 1950 is an awesome resort.

Les Arcs 1950 is an awesome resort. Plenty of skiing in a beautiful sunny bowl with access to a huge range of slopes. The village is small and has no cars which is so good for families / kids. And yet it has everything you need - lots of lovely restaurants, an amazing bakery and a supermarket. This is out 2nd year in a row at the resort and we will return!

This is the first time I was in Les Arcs, it is a very nice...

This is the first time I was in Les Arcs, it is a very nice ski resort, although it was quite crowded on Sunday, even in the middle of March. I can imagine how it looks like during the vacations. It is connected with La Plagne and you need to pay only a few additional euros to have a valid pass to whole space. Many nice bars and restaurants with reasonable prices for ski resorts.

The village is very small with only one supermarket - which does have pretty much everything you need - and one souvenir shop. It does have a wonderful bakery and charcuterie though and some very good restaurants, but because it is so small there is not much competition on prices and I felt they were higher than other ski resorts I had been to. However, the plus side were the people who seemed very friendly and helpful and there was a good live music scene and a good bar/club (O Chaud). We ate at Luigi’s, La Vache Rouge and L’Ours Blanc which were all very good and had snacks and drinks at the Woolley Socks pub. Everything is in a 2-3 min walking distance with a host of different ski rental places to choose from and a ski-pass sale point all in the centre of the village.

Great ski destination and beautiful village. The only downside of the village is the lack of a newstand and pharmacy. You need to travel/ski to Arc 1800 for such shopping. Unnecessary amount of ski equipment stores. Great restaurants each with unique character. Arc 1950 gives easy access to the Paradiski domain with Les Arcs (1600/1800/1950/2000), Vallandry and La Plagne via the Vanoise Express. La Plagne is a gem and amazing resort with so much to see and so many slopes to ski on.

Large ski area, especially taking account of other Les Arcs...

Large ski area, especially taking account of other Les Arcs resorts and La Plagne but (a) took a long, long time to get there by transfer (b) the pistes are not properly groomed and so the red runs were very mogully and (c) not many good food options in the evening.

The hotel's location is amazing with quick access to various ski lifts and other villages (1950 is 5mins away with a gondola). The room is very neat and offers lots of space for 4 people. We also really enjoyed the fact that it had 2 rooms with their own bathrooms. The views from the balcony are great and the hotel's pool, sauna and steam room facilities are really good and was thoroughly enjoyed. You can also order fresh bread to be delivered every morning from the reception the night before.
