We loved everything about the hotel! The location, close to the harbour was wonderful, the hotel owner/staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the property was exceptionally clean and well thought though with a nautical theme throughout, and there was also secure bike storage.

Small apartment in center of town close to restaurants and shops! We always stay in this building (there are 3 units) on the 3 floor of a building that has an elevator ! WiFi is available and stable. The bedroom has no windows but we like it because it is dark and we can sleep well!

bedsheets were very often replaced, towels as well> Very glad with this service. The room was very neat and tidy when we re-entered after a day out. Staff was very friendly and helpful with info concerning things to do and/or suggestions for excursions etc. Bathroom was fine & bed very comfortable. TV-streaming went smoothly. Parking space was very good, close to the room.

Silent room, flexible and organized for my late night arrival, good surprise with a lit pellet stove on arrival (it was cold outside but warm and cozy inside the reception), and gave us the tip to visit the historical city port just a few minutes away (which was a beautiful surprise).

Joseline, the reception lady. She was so much helpful and smiley. She helped us a lot. At 10pm night, she prepared pizza for us, and served in restaurant hall evenif it was supposed to be closed.

This apartment was spacious and convenient. The location was perfect. It was a short walk from everything. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the balcony. We really enjoyed having the free parking.

Old town, interesting shops in lovely streets and very attractive buildings, beware if you are not fit as there steep hills. Still, if you walk down the harbour there is a "train" , which takes you around the port, and up to the town, and you can leave the train there. Plenty of restaurants by the port and the town. All very pleasant

Auray is a pretty little town and it has a wonderful market on Mondays. One of the best French markets we have been to. There is plenty to explore in the Morbihan (we used the trains a lot as well as our car) We recommend two sights in particular: 1. the megalith stones at Carnac 2. Going inside the submarine at L'Orient

I have to admit that I didn't see a great deal of Auray...

I have to admit that I didn't see a great deal of Auray itself and focused on the Port area.I was fascinated to learn that I was standing on the quayside where Benjamin Franklin landed after the American Revolution in 1776 and there are references to this in various places around the St Goustan Port.The steep and narrow streets may not be ideal territory for those with limited mobility but they are incredibly scenic and worth the effort.On the other side of the coin,the restaurants around the port certainly use the quality of the location to boost their prices a bit. The limited time I spent in the other areas of Auray indicated that it isn't hugely different to most other French towns of similar size.

Auray Saint Goustan was a truly magical, ancient, small Breton town situated beside the water. Eating a delicious dinner overlooking the colourful vintage fishing boats and the old stone bridge in the setting sun was an image I want to lock in my memory box forever. The huge and rambling Auray market day on a Monday morning is definite must for a market lover!

Really lovely apartment right in the port, just above the restaurants/cafes. Location is fantastic, a short walk up the hill into Auray which has more shops and restaurants. A really lovely spot and the apartment is perfect for 2. The bed is really comfortable! There is free parking nearby but not secure.

We have stayed here many times. It is conveniently located a short distance from the Motorway / Autoroute and is a short walk to Port Gaustan with its bars and restaurants, Easy access and free parking at the hotel.

The only positives staying here was the location to the top town of Auray. If you wanted to be in the main area /river it was a 10 minute walk down hill then obviously uphill on way home. Powerful shower.
