The family running this hotel is very accommodating and helpful, going far beyond our expectations. We arrived by bicycle and they provided us with tools and material to maintain them (at a small and reasonable charge). Dinner and breakfast were highly satisfactory. Overall, it felt more like visiting relatives than going to a hotel.

We were traveling by bicycle and wanted a bike-friendly hotel. This is it. Lots of bike parking in the basement (easily reachable from outside). Good value. It is a little outside of town, which we knew, but I hadn't realized we would need to backtrack a bit to get back on the Avenue Verte route (Paris to London bike route). There's an Indian restaurant in the hotel, but if that's not what you want and are biking, eat before you get there.

A recently renovated homestay in Beauficel-en-Lyons, "Le Val des Prés" Atypique, Chambres spacieuses dans ancienne usine offers picnic area, private parking, and sports facilities.

This chateau is absolutely gorgeous! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and super clean. It was also well equipped with a smart TV with streaming apps, coffee machine, fluffy bath robes, and toiletries. The hosts Frank and Inez are super nice people, who made us feel very welcome and gave us lovely recommendations for places to eat in the area (and even helped us maks reservations). In the morning we were served a delicious breakfast with local breads, cheeses, jams, fresh fruits, and eggs. I highly recommend staying at this lovely castle.
