I lvoed the staff who spoke very good English and tried to accommodate every request we made (we did not make many). They were kind and made sure our room was cleaned every day (and it was). Large room with more than enough space for all of our luggage. It was in the center of Biscarrosse, so very close to evderything. The staff helped arrange us for a rental car during out stay. The rooms were as advertised and were even more spacious than their picutres on Bookings.com.

Massively busy, only allowed to swim between the flags (no real freedom), and only beginner surfers with tiny waves (boards flying around everywhere). I'd recommend going at another time than mid-summer. Other than that, lovely clean beach.

A modern town of beach cottages about an hour outside...

A modern town of beach cottages about an hour outside Bordeaux. We found the beach to be wonderful, although this area is normally prone to windy and choppy conditions. Great for kite surfing. MY only disappointment was the lack of extensive hiking trails in the forest nearby. There were some good trails heading inland to Biscarosse-Lac, but most trails to the north or south are restricted for the military bases.

Antoine is an amazing host. Communicates quickly and clearly. The location is perfect. We decided to stay 6 nights instead of the anticipated 1 night. The interior, decoration and atmosphere is unique in France. We also stayed in the guest house where we could use all facilities: kitchen, living, terrace, garden. Super spacious, ideal for all our surf gear and walking distance from everything you need. I and the beds are extremely comfortable!

Great location. Great breakfast but a bit weak for a 4 star hotel to only offer one sort of bread as gluten-free offer when this was communicated in the booking( and confirmed). No pancake, no waffles no cakes… WiFi was a bit on and off. We were not informed when we arrived that we need to book a table in the restaurant to have a table. One evening we needed to go somewhere else.

Great value for money, and it was lovely to have an aircon room in the middle of summer. We rented bikes which made the location of the hotel really close to the main strip. We had a little balcony and a cozy desk.
