Perfectly situated for Bordeaux Airport, the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and informative recommending we eat at Au Bureau Brasserie a 5 minute walk away as the hotel's restaurant was closed the nights we stayed there. I would recommend Au Bureau - busy with a good atmosphere and good food. I would also recommend the Brit hotel.

We stayed the night before hiring a car and driving to Arcachon. IT was ideally situated and had a good selection of rooms and services.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a hot breakfast buffet the following morning before checking out mid morning.

Best to have a car.
Best to have a car. We used our car very day to drive to various vineyards and wineries on both the left bank and the right bank. The location of the chateau is near the main highway and easy to access. There were ample local shops and restaurants within a short drive from the chateau to grab cheese, bread, and supplies.

Le Bouscat is a residential area north of Bordeaux centre - around 15 minute tram ride. Its quite suburban and not a lot going on so would only recommend as a short stay location if you are visiting the city. Some owners are asking 140+ Euros a night to stay in their flat here `so I would recommend you find a boutique hotel closer to the city.

Ease of access to transport, grocery store, parking spot. Ease of getting in, feeling safe, secure and cozy. We arrived after 8pm, Marion was waiting for us with the keys and instructions . It was a raining day. We unpacked and walked to grab items for breakfast for our stay. Marion was a great help to us when we had a challenge with the electric car!

Bordeaux is an excellent walking city with plenty of opportunity to sit back and relax. A wide choice of food and drink places as you might imagine. The old town is very attractive and the regenerated dockland area is becoming a buzzy place to visit. The Trams make getting to and from the airport easy and get you to all parts of the city and beyond. Not too many sights but plenty to do. The Submarine base, CAPC art gallery, Cite du Vin and the mirror lake are all worth a visit.

A clean and comfortable hotel, good for those using it as a pit stop on the way to/from Spain. Its on the main motorway so a way out of the city centre so probably not good for anyone wanting to explore Bordeaux. The restaurant isn't open on a Friday night as the hotel has so few guests but there are plenty of food outlets nearby

Bordeaux is a big city and very the centres was very clean especially around the historic buildings. But the side streets were very dirty with much uncollected rubbish. Some aggressive beggars were also a nuisance in some areas. However it’s a beautiful place with many fine buildings, especially on the water front. Great museums too, especially the museum of fine art.
