Catherine was a wonderful host! Very welcoming and personable. She shared local history and travel tips. The property is literally along the canal—an old lockkeepers’s house— but beautifully and comfortably updated. Catch sunset along the canal before climbing into the most comfortable bed you will find along the trail. Very bike-friendly, with locked bike storage and free clothes washing. As the listing notes, Catherine will provide breakfast for an extra fee but be sure to pick up ingredients for your dinner (at the town nearby) before checking in and you have access to the kitchen for meal prep.
