The setting was charming and we wish we could have stayed longer. The property is family owned with 4 generations living and working there. We loved the old stone buildings. While the inside was updated the hosts have maintained the historical charm. We were 4 adults and shared the family room - 2 singles and a double. Nice attached bathroom and shower. There is a restaurant attached and two of our group have celiac disease and the host was able to accommodate gluten free meals. Delicious meal with a lovely presentation. The chef/hostess was very pleasant and warm. We had pleasant interactions with some of the family pets- 2 cats, a very sweet dog, 5 horses and a donkey.

We spent two nights at Domaine de Marculfo while visiting the Normandy region. The B&B owner was so hospitable, friendly and helpful. She speaks excellent English. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the bathrooms are modernly updated and the beds are SO comfortable. The views from the rooms of the garden and farm fields are so lovely, especially during sunrise and sunset. We were encouraged to use the living room to gather and we were provided with coffee, tea and delicious cookies. We really loved the peaceful location in the French countryside, but also centrally located between Utah Beach, Omaha Beach and Bayeux. Corinne and her mother made us a wonderful breakfast both mornings. We especially enjoyed their homemade yogurt, jams, crepes and pear cake. We have stayed in hotels and AirBNBs all over Europe and this was one of our favorites! Highly recommended!

Lovely accommodations in an old historic home in rural France. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the host couple were very kind and gracious. We arrived later than originally expected and they were very accommodating. They invited us for a drink and some pleasant conversation upon arrival which was very nice. The breakfast they provide each morning was great. My 14 year old son, who can be very hard to please, really enjoyed talking to the hosts and we all loved their little dog Pims.
