The b+b is perfectly located for exploring the coast, an easy drive to Biarritz or Donostia-San Sebastian. The room was spotlessly clean, with a comfy bed, and all sorts of nice touches - coffee maker, kettle, mini-fridge, etc. The view from the room was amazing! And breakfast - also with a fantastic view - was healthy and abundant.

Highly recommend Villa La Croix Basque. It is a beautiful home surrounded by a lovely garden and it has a view of the mountains from the balcony in the room where we stayed. Marie-France is a fantastic host, so warm and welcoming. She also makes a delicious breakfast every morning. We got good advice on places to go for dinner as well as the best beaches for relaxing and swimming or lying on the beach. I would go back again any time I'm in the area.

This was a perfect location with fabulous views. The apartment was sparkling clean and comfortable with all utensils that would be required. The private terrace and BBQ were just perfect. The owners were very understanding and kind upon our arrival when we discovered that there had been a misunderstanding with booking.com.

This town has a great beach, an active fishing port, a proper hypermarket (Carrefour) and loads of street restaurants. It's pleasant to walk around and feels safe at night. Unfortunately the restaurants are all at tourist prices and all feature local cuisine with pretty much zero acceptance that the world may have some vegetarians who might want to eat something other than a salad. Asian restaurants are usually a safe fallback in such situations, but Ciboure doesn't have any (not even take-aways!), which is just weird. There is a pizza take-away, but it's well away from the centre.

If you like vibrant environment (not a touristic hell vibrancy) Ciboure is the right choice. It is a charming place with beautiful beaches, stunning views of the Pyrenees, and vibrant Basque culture. It is a true Paradise for runners and those who likes long promenades. Fort de Socoa and area around is beautiful in any time of the day and you can find many outstanding restaurants there with affordable prices. You can reach St Jean de Luz by foot in 20 mins from Fort Socoa, and in 10 min from Ciboure Eglise (which is worth to visit!!!). and of course you can explore the nearby beautiful villages!

Restaurants in Socoa are excellent and the walk along from Ciboure is wonderful. St Jean de Luz is also just an easy walk away - a lovely town with a lovely beach, lots of bars, restaurants and bistros. Well worth a visit.

Ciboure is a smallish French Basque village with a great deal of charm. It tends to be quieter than its neighbour across the Nivelle river, but that more liverly resort is easily walked to across the bridge, so best of both worlds. Ciboure has easy walking around a circular bay with lots of places to eat or shop. Views are very picturesque and just right to sit and watch the world go by.

Very pretty, lots of beautiful villas, reminds Beverly hills. The harbour is full of houses built in Bask style and looks amazing. The town has been built on the hill, so, you get down and then have to climbe back for a long time. Some shops and cafes, but cross the bridge and you are in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, where you will find everything.

Perfectly acceptable room for one night stay. Everything was clean. Easy walking distance to St Jean De Luz and handy having the secure parking as I should think in the summer it's difficult to park on the street
