Location, we wanted to spend one night and climb back. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Although there was a language barrier, the staff made sure we were comfortable and was very accommodating.

My hosts on the property were excellent, kind and very helpful. The meals (breakfasts and dinners) were delicious and plentiful. After I sprained my ankle while I was out walking, the hosts were helpful with an ice pack and bandage for my health problem. My room was especially tidy and beautiful; the second floor location of my room made the stay charming, especially to look outside my window to see the hills and trees and the Heimbach steadilly flowing. I enjoyed using the WiFi connection and the available TV channels.

Check-in was very easy, and everything was explained. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for our stay. However, the owner provided excellent recommendations for restaurants. The room was very large and the beds were extremely comfortable..

A beautiful estate in a very picturesque location. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Staff were awesome, highly recommend! We’ll be back.

Everything and particularly the service

It was a nice stay in a quite little town. Off course it was a bit off season. We had an awesome dinner at a close by restaurant.

The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Unfortunatley when we arrived the restaurant was closed and had to look elsewhere. There was plenty of parking and the location for us was ideal. Breakfast was basic and good.

Charming. Everything was very comfortable. Hosts are great.

Location was perfect for our trip France was just a couple of kilometers away. The apartment was spotless, super clean.

Very peaceful and located in the woods. It’s a bit of a drive to any civilization, but I liked that. The Walther family are amazing hosts and made the stay very enjoyable.
