This is true 5 star hotel, the design of the place is unique. Attention to children is kind. They had small bath robes, slippers and color pencils ready for my children when we arrived. Every evening they make up your bedroom ready for the night rest. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of options. Highly professional team together with the beautiful property make it a wonderful place to stay. Special thanks to Antoine and Morgan.

We rented a cabin on the water and my just loved it. Super quiet, fully stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin had 2 beds, but the one bed was a full, not big enough for my husband and I, so we each had our own bed. The pool was closed, but it looked fine.

The welcoming, the authenticity of the facilities, very French-like style. The beds are very comfy and great linens, as expected in a nice hotel Great view on the village, amazing rooftop view.. Quiet rooms,.very well situated. An amazing breakfast, good qualité food and varied. All the staff is very attentive,, kind and smiling. Wonderful experience indeed! Would have stayed longer if I'd had the opportunity.

The breakfast was good and the staff was super friendly… Sandrine, Lucie, and Aileen were attentive and very helpful. The location of the Hotel was perfect for exactly what I wanted to do which was explore the Cognac distilleries and this Hotel provided a very good location to enjoy Remy Martin, Hennessy , Dulce, and Martell all within walking distance…. And the room was very spacious, cozy, and very clean.

There are some places you feel right at home as they evoke...

There are some places you feel right at home as they evoke such a positive vibe and warm feelings, Cognac does that to me. It’s clean (unlike Paris) it’s friendly, its architecture and scenery amazing and easily walkable. Lots of OMG Mind blowing moments, like dining at Monet. But primarily it’s the people, food and ambience. Best ever Quiche Lorraine at a small Boulanger near Martel driveway entrance but cannot remember its name ?

LOVELY TOWN WITH BEAUTIFUL ARCHITECTURE AND WELL WORTH DOING...

LOVELY TOWN WITH BEAUTIFUL ARCHITECTURE AND WELL WORTH DOING A COGNAC TOUR OF ONE OR TWO OF THE COGNAC HOUSES. A LOT OF RENNOVATION GOING ON IN THE TOWN AND THE RIVERSIDE. PLENTY OF PLACES TO CHOOSE FOR EATING OUT AND LOTS OF NICE LITTLE SHOPS TO EXPLORE. LE GARAGE IS A FUN BAR TO STOP OFF AT. WE HAD A LOVELY LUNCH AT CHEZ BIANCA AND PHILIPPE AND DELICIOUS DINNER AT THE CHAIS MONNET HOTEL.

A beautiful charming town, all centres around cognac making, we arrived on a Friday and found the whole town very quiet, we were later informed that the majority of inhabitants working in Cognac would be in summer holidays and only tourists remain, so if in peak season looking for a little peace and quiet, this is the place to go. Lovely promenade on the river, charming brasseries and bars in the old town and on the Quai. We really liked it.

Loved everything about Cognac.

Loved everything about Cognac. Historical city, many old buildings to see. The riverside made a lovely walk, and had superb restaurants.If you like to drink cognac, this is the place to visit as several cognac producers have a base here, and are open to visitors.Everyone was very friendly and a lot of people there spoke English, which helped! Unfortunately it isn’t easy to get to if you’re not driving yourself, but we caught a train from La Rochelle, which was easy.

Wonderful city!

Wonderful city! Lots to see and do plenty of bars and restaurants! Thoroughly recommend a couple of nights there! Make sure you book at La Scala gorgeous Italiana restaurant! Visit one of the many Distilleries we visited Chateau Cognac it was amazing!

Was on the pricey end of the Cognac spectrum but came with all the comforts including sauna (which was hot) and a pool. We did not eat at the hotel but its location in Central Cognac was near numerous food venues. The bar was lively. Staff was friendly and helpful.
