It was the best of both worlds: we had a bakery and grocery store just a short walk away for everything we needed. United StatesLe Grand Barrios is a lovely old three story stone and brick home with historic roots firmly planted on the banks of the River Morin, a small tributary of the Marne. Originally a convent the Grand Barrios grew into its current form over the centuries. Our very large room on the second floor was formenry the living room. Furnished with antique furniture, its large windows overlook the back garden end the river. It has well equipped separate toilet and bath. On the ground level is a large living room, dining room and kitchen where Fred, the owner, a former chef, prepares delicious breakfast of homemade specialties and gourmet evening meals on request. Before dinner Fred and his associate Jean-Phillippe encourage his guests to gather in the living room for pre-dinner drinks and lively conversation. Free parking on site.
Although the town of Crecy-la-Chapelle may at first glance, seem like another forgotten village along the way to Meaux, its hidden charms are worth exploring. Crecy-la-Chapelle's location on the river Morin fostered trade, craft, and the textile industry during the Middle Ages. In the 19th-century, the town inspired many Barbizon School painters who nicknamed it " Venice in Brie." You can take a pleasant walk from the town square to the river, past the remaining mills and church. Look for the small signs that help explain the little known history of the interesting old river town.

The location is great — just a 10–12 minute walk to the bus stop for Disneyland Paris.
The property was clean, and the kitchen was equipped with all the necessary amenities.
The staff were always friendly and welcoming, though they were not always very helpful.
Not so happy with: The check-in times are very strict, and access to the gates is not possible after 23:00, which is inconvenient—especially since Disneyland Paris often closes between 22:40 and 23:00.
We had a late flight that was delayed, which made the check-in process a nightmare. I would definitely recommend checking in during the daytime.The campsite is poorly lit at night.
The reception operates on limited hours only (09:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00).
Linen and towels are not included and require an additional fee!
Although the staff are polite and smiley, they are not very helpful and do not go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay.

The area situated on the golf course was lovely.
The area situated on the golf course was lovely. The rooms were comfortable, but the shower was broken and stairway to our room lighted badly.
The breakfast was poor and things ran out and were not replaced.

lovely pretty little town with great public transport not far from the campsite to disneyland paris making it an ideal location to base your trip we went as a large group of family and friends and enjoyed every minute of it and wished had stayed longer than 2 weeks it was that nice

We left on June 8th.. It is now July 8th ,.
Despite Numerous emails and a phone call.
We still HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR 200 EURO DAMAGE DEPOSIT BACK.
OR HAD ANY REPLY OR CORRESPONDENCE BACK FROM 'CAMPING LA CRAPPY' .
The place is nice , safe ,Clean and tidy and close to euro disney...
It's just a pity they STEAL YOUR MONEY with no explanation or contact!!!!
So unfortunately because of the above deposit issue. i have to mark all facilities as poor.
If you go there, it is a nice place,, but make sure you factor in the extra 200 euro (£168) .
That THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU.

The staff were amazing , we arrived late and a member of staff stayed and waited for us to arrive .
The place was very clean , but basic , no kettle , toaster or oven . This made it difficult to make a meal as only had 4 gas rings .
The food truck is a great idea but basic menu .
Transport and location great 15 minutes from Disney land on the bus .
No bikes for hire as advertised , stopped in 2023 which was disappointing. Table tennis only had bats and no balls ??
Supermarkets near by .
Overall for a base it’s great .

Four spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with washing facilities as well as a large lounge/dining room and sunny terrace. All set in a large garden with wonderful views across the countryside. Very quiet spot on the edge of the village but easy to get to nearest supermarket.
It took us about 20mins to get to Disneyland and was the perfect spot to unwind the following day.

The property is ideally located in a quiet residential area nestled in the countryside yet only 5 mins drive to Crecy La Chapelle.
It has all the facilities you need and is 20 mins from Disney and Val d Europe shopping mall.
The pool, jacuzzi and steam room are super and great for wet winter days.
The grounds are lovely and private.
Julien and Elodie are attentive hosts who do everything to ensure you enjoy your stay.

Beautiful hotel, very peaceful and friendly staff. We arrived late and they were very accommodating from front desk to the restaurant too. Secure parking, great shirt driving distance to Disney parks. Accommodation was large, practical and perfect for our family. Breakfast was excellent with stunning decor and welcoming and relaxed atmosphere!! Thank you everyone.

Great location - close to Paris & Disney and the town nearby (Crecy La Chapelle) is pretty with a small supermarket, Boulangerie etc. Campsite is small enough to feel safe for kids to play and surrounded by trees so cooler in the heat. Bungalow well equipped & clean and late check in organised efficiently via email.

The apartment is in a fantastic location, the village of Crecy La Chapelle is beautiful and has great amenities. I was unwell for the duration of our tip unfortunately however the staff within the local pharmacy and Doctors were fantastic and so helpful to me which I am so grateful for!

Easy train access from Paris and a bus ride to Disneyland.
More than I expected.
Apartment was beautiful and the village at Crecy La Chapelle has everything you need and an amazing Pizza restaurant.
