I spent an incredible 5 nights at this wonderful location. The staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful, punctual and the service was exemplary. Breakfast every morning with your cafe au lait made to order is a great way to start the day. The location is excellent, walkable to everything, The decor is gentle and understated, situated in a beautiful ancient building. Onsite parking - make sure to ask ahead of arrival. The room was large and very comfortable. I was able to meet the owner, and all the staff at their monthly artist reception which was quite a fun treat. I highly recommend for solo, couples, families and will return. Special thanks to Olivia, Victoria, Aman and all the staff who made my stay so memorable.

Brilliantly located just outside the centreville but barely a three to four minute walk away. The directions provided for parking by Francois were perfect along with GPS and the hotel was a quick 5-minute walk from the parking. We opted for the breakfast which was plentiful and good (yogurt, cheese, boiled egg, juice, coffee, croissant, bread and preserves). We had dinner there one evening and were very happy with our meals. Francois was a very cheerful and welcoming presence. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the British will be thrilled to know the room had an electric kettle.

Our stay was absolutely perfect at this hotel! I would highly recommend! The location is perfect and the hotel is beautiful.

La Taverne is located in Uzès, on a pedestrian street just a 2-minute walk from the Duché Castle. The tourist office is 328 feet from the property and Haribo Museum is 1.9 mi away.

Great location and extremely quiet in spite of being very close to the main road. Rooms were simply furnished but spotless.

With an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub, this 18th-century château is located 2.5 mi from the medieval city of Uzes and a 25-minute drive from the Pont de Gard.

We have visited it for a honey-weekend right after our marriage! Excellent emotions. Really medieval environment, calm, we felt ourselves as prince and princess. A good restaurant.

The rooms were comfortable and the beds/ pillows were great. The staff that spoke English was limited but everyone was helpful especially the front desk. We had a good dinner and a superb breakfast.
