Givet is a small beautiful town.

Givet is a small beautiful town. We travelled from Charleoi by car, it's one hour drive. From Givet you can travel basically anywhere, Brussels, Namur, Luxemburg, Paris - on the other hand we spend one day just sightseeing the town and surrounding area.

Givet is a very poor place to go, I was using it as a base for other things, I think Givet is a holiday town so most things were closed when I was there. Even the castle was only open weekends so I was unable to visit. It might be a lovely place in the summer but wouldn't go in the winter or spring

Givet is a nice cute little town with a fortress on a hill, a river with enough possibilities for cycling/walking etc. Locals are friendly and it's one of my favourite starting point for travel to the south and explore the Ardennes.

One has to be impressed with the way the owners have taken...

One has to be impressed with the way the owners have taken an old chateau and turned it into a holiday venue. It has all the facilities you need with a great breakfast thrown in. The town itself is very pretty, wonderful to walk round with the river gently flowing past the town. Go there, it's worth the visit.

Gregory’s property was perfect for our 5 night stay in Givet. The apartment was clean, tidy and had everything one needs for a self catered stay. The rooms were spacious and everything were of excellent quality. Communication with the host was excellent. The location was perfect for exploring the Ardennes in France and Belgium. Two large supermarkets were within walking distance making it more convenient.

Spacious room for a budget hotel, shops and fastfood are located nearby. Unlike cheaper hotels the rooms are inside with a keypad door lock aswell as the main entrance.
