The resort is situated near Gordes and many other villages in Provence. I like to visit Provence for about four days and visit about twelve villages during my stay. The Ferme de la Huppe provided easy parking, a quiet place to sleep, and a an all-inclusive resort to re-charge after being gone during the days.

Gordes is a beautiful city in the Provence region of France, perched atop a high hillside overlooking the picturesque Luberon Valley. The village looks like a postcard or piece of art as you approach it from the road. The village is quiet and the food options are plentiful for any taste or budget. Gordes' location is also ideal with easy access to surrounding villages, as well as the beautiful and historic Abbaye de Senanque, a monestary built in 1148.

Lovely town with a number of great restaurants.
Lovely town with a number of great restaurants. September was a good month to travel as the town was not over busy with tourists. From our accommodation it was easy to walk into town, so didn't require to use the car. Parking is limited in the town itself.

It is a pretty town in a lovely location, but it is overwhelmed with the commercial side of tourism. I enjoyed it, but I think my return to the area would be for the locale rather than the town itself.

Gordes is very pretty but does get quite busy with visitors.
Gordes is very pretty but does get quite busy with visitors. Some of the other villages nearby are also lovely and much less crowded - for example Oppede le Vieux, Menerbes and Venasque.
The Abbaye de Senanque is well worth a visit - a beautiful old abbey in a lovely location.

A beautiful typical Provencal Hilltop village which attracts many many tourists as soon as the spring days arrive. Well worth a visit and a great base for visiting the surrounding countryside, which is stunning

Fantastic little apartment in a lovely little complex of holiday homes with a picturesque communal swimming pool which we made the most of. Very convenient location close to Gordes which is within walking distance and plenty of parking on site so no need to worry about parking in Gordes. Apartment is well furnished, clean and tidy and has a nice outdoor terrace area which is private. Valerie the host is very good on communication and provided a useful pdf guide before arrival. Would definitely recommend.

What a gem! What a delight! An oasis of beauty amongst a landscape serene. Madame Patricia Weber was so helpful, catering for our every need, and providing advice on Gordes and the environs. Breakfast on the terrace is unbeatable. Patricia's attention to detail makes every morsel almost too good to eat, it's Art on the breakfast table.
We absolutely loved it and she forgave my limited french as we enjoyed some light conversation. We will definitely return.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location with breathtaking views across to the centre of Gordes from the terrace. To walk into Gordes was 5 minutes. Drinks on the terrace in the evening were wonderful and also a great breakfast on the terrace.
