We loved the place, to arrive in a charming "old" building, surrounded bij the woods. We got a warm welcome and bought some special beers - looking forward to taste them! The appartment has a welcoming, tasteful atmosphere. It is complete and clean. It has been decorated with love, even with artprints from farious artists. Good isolation (it was a hot summer day but the appartment stayed cool due to the thick walls) and the heater worked perfectly in the evening. We will come back for sure! Looking forward to it.

I chose this property as I planned to visit (and did visit) the Natzweiller-Struthof Nazi concentration camp near by, the only one on French soil, although Alsace was illegally annexed by Germany after the fall of France. The owners, three couples I’m told, purchased the place and took it over on June 1. The people are met were very nice and helpful. So the location for me was primary. I was also appreciative that they did my very small laundry. It was fairly pricey, but that’s the situation in hotels also. It saved me a lot of hand washing so I was pleased.
