The property is modern , nice with a lot of attention so that everything is comfortable, the room was large with a double sofa that can be opened for a double bad or closed for a very comfort seating. The room had its own balcony with beautiful view. It is near the center of Grasse and the parfumeries. The owner loves to cook

The apartment was lovely, warm and comfy. The washing machine was nice as we ran a load of laundry and our stuff was able to dry over night as we placed items on the towel rack and near the radiators to dry. The apartment is super convenient to all the major sites in Grasse. The recommendations for restaurants were excellent. There is a super close parking deck which was nice.

Our hosts could not have been more accomodating and engaging. The property itself is a marvel with small delights spread throughout. From a boutique tea bar and marvelous breakfast to a welcoming glass of wine, every hope was exceeded. Our hosts were even kind enough to provide a ride to and from dinner once they saw my mother is somewhat immobile. I can not recommend this lodging more highly, it was truly excellent.

The location of Grasse is in the hills, therefore it is easier to navigate it by car, although public transport is extremely good, with frequent service to the centre, the train station and to Cannes; it's also cheap. Grasse is famous for its production of perfume and there are 3 factories that one can visit together with a museum. There are also festivals, such as the Italian one. Quite a few restaurants and cafes.

Nice place, friendly staff, good WiFi, very comfortable mattress & pillows, great shower. Not easy to find from the road (signage), limited parking, TV a bit small but works fine. All in all, a very nice place.

Grasse is the world's capital of perfume.

Grasse is the world's capital of perfume. At least 100 perfume makers and designers live and work here. It made the list of UNESCO world sites - the skills of perfume making is now a unique UNESCO recognition for Grasse. The old town is small and graciously dotted with stores, old homes, churches, gardens, small plazas with excellent restaurants. The Il Monticello Chambre d'Hotes is located about 15 minutes from the center of Grasse. It is a magnificent rural setting with a pool which offers a refreshing tableau surrounded by flowers, birds, and many sitting areas that are so pittoresque and Provencal, A unique experience.

We didn't like Grasse.

We didn't like Grasse. The old town was seedy and felt unsafe at night. During the day my husband and I took a walk around the town. We came across a very large square that was filled with only men - not a woman in sight. When we walked into the square, they all stopped and looked at me as if to say 'What is a woman doing here?'. It was very strange to experience this in France. At night we chose to stay in and cook rather than go to a restaurant simply because it did not feel safe.

Beautiful city and probably very interesting during the day. Spectacular views. At night the centre was very quiet ,in fact dead. Everywhere seemed to be closed except some seedy-looking bars which housed some dubious-looking clients. Virtually no women or young people around . Not a nice atmosphere. Only there for one night .

This is a quirky yet incredibly charming little apartment, nestled in the most endearing neighbourhood. You are spoiled for a choice of places to eat, and there shops and galleries within a short walk. Our host was friendly and helpful and the flat was clean and well-kept with plenty of natural light and excellent WiFi. I absolutely loved my stay there and I recommend anyone visiting Grasse to consider it!

Location was pretty good. One of the few hotels located centrally. Staff spoke good English, though some things lost in translation occasionally. Paul arranged taxis from and back to Cannes railway station. Air conditioning very welcome.

Grasse has no hotels in the centre and so this guest house is ideal to walk and see the sights and stroll into the town for dinner. The decor is superb and exceptionally clean. Breakfast in the garden the 'icing on the cake'.
