Clean, comfortable bed, efficient and silent AC, good breakfast. Someone can complain about location - not so easy access without car, but I like it as it is in silent neighborhood.

Perfect location within walking distance of Saint Louise Train station from Basel. Comfortable rooms - prefect for a one night stay as we had an early flight from the airport - huge advantage that there is a free airport shuttle service available which arrived on time.

Walkable from the train station and very convenient to the airport. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer. This is a very quaint hotel with a wonderful breakfast. It is small as with most European hotels, but such a pleasant stay! I would definitely return to this hotel.’

Staff was very helpful, and came up with a solution when my plane was late. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Possibly the best European hotel breakfast I have ever had.

Great place to stay if you need to go to the airport

There is everything to like about this property. Clean, great location, friendly accommodating staff, beautiful facility with well maintained rooms, common areas and outside gardens. The lovely breakfast area and delicious food was a great start to each day.

This hotel was ideally located in the old center of Basil. Everything is accessible walking or by public transport. The rooms and facilities were clean, modern and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when in Basel!

The location and the service are exceptional!

The location was perfect for the Viking Cruise we were taking. We were able to walk to the port. The morning staff were really warm and helpful. Loved the old building.

The hotel is short walk from the train station. The room is basic, but recently refurnished, nice, comfortable and very clean. Excellent value for money.
