We arrived at this Property to find a beautiful house being used as a Chambre D Hote. We were welcomed by the Owner who showed us where to go with our luggage and then quickly sorted secure storage for our bikes. All 5 rooms were in use and the atmosphere at breakfast was really nice. The breakfast was excellent with some home cooked cake to finish. The Owner was going out of her way to make sure everyone there was well catered for. The bedroom we had was very spacious and well appointed. The location was good for us as we were cycling the Nantes Brest Canal. We were sorry but we did not have time to use the swimming pool.

The house is a beautifully restored historic cottage in a quiet impasse (cul de sac) about a hundred yards from the main square in Malestroit. It is in a perfect location for the town and it's probably the best equipped and most comfortable self catering property we have been to. One piece of advice to renters, who will probably be using a car. You have to park two or three minutes walk away; Floriane the owner suggests where but it's worth allowing a little time to sus out the parking places when you arrive in the town.

Best place we've stayed! Quiet but central. The.terrace is not overlooked and is delightful in warm weather. All good quality fittings and furnishings with bonus of a washing machine and secure bike storage. Very comfortable bed. We liked the filter coffee machine as we don't like capsules machines. Coffee was provided. Very responsive owners. Short walk to parking in the main square. Malestroit is a great place, the canal is a highlight. Our first 10 out of 10.

Marie-Hélène was so welcoming and warm and made us feel right at home. Our room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The heated towel rail was useful given that we were cycling through Malestroit and needed to dry kit after being caught in rain. The property was also perfectly kitted out for storing our bicycles securely, something that was greatly appreciated! Breakfast was also delicious - featuring the host’s home made bread, cake and jams.

We visited the Miraflores while on a cycling holiday. I enjoyed it mainly because of the attentiveness of the owner. The home baked bread and Breton cake for breakfast were amazing. The room and facilities were excellent. Swimming in the pool was an excellent way to relax after a long cycle. Malestroit is a lovely medieval town. We ate in a local restaurant and heard choral music in the church. A fantastic end to a wonderful day.
