The room was very small but comfortable. It attaches to a larger apartment as an extra bedroom so we could hear the family on the other side of the door quite well. Small bed, well heated, comfortable bathroom/shower. Nice to have an adjacent room where we could lock up our bikes. Setting was pretty cool- in a public park on the Rhone River. So nice amenities like a playground, walking paths, bird watching station. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us some guidance on biking out the next day.

Violette is an exceptional host with a true passion for what she does. She explained to us that, together with her husband, they spent five years renovating this traditional Savoyard farmhouse to create an idyllic and peaceful retreat. Our room, with a king-size bed, was spacious, clean and inviting. The bathroom was large and functional, and a huge window offered a calming view of the pastures, adding a perfect sense of tranquility. Breakfast was both delicious and generous, with Violette serving local specialties, cheeses, homemade cakes, and jams made from fruit grown on the property. Her kindness, wit, and infectious laughter make her truly delightful—a little piece of heaven in the heart of the French countryside.

Totally unique, with antique furnitures but with all modern equipment you can imagine. Its better than on pictures. Every detail of decoration has its place, VERY clean, crispy white bedsheets, huge room. Views from the castle terrace and windows are breathtaking. Castle is often used for weddings, but even for a casual stay you have a feeling like celebrating something important. Breakfast is 11 out of 10, its best breakfast I have ever had in France. Owners are the top of hospitality (due to flight delay we arrived in the middle of the night - owners still welcomed with a big smile) and in general very pleasant.
