We stayed for 2 nights in the one bedroom house (called Eleanor du Provence) which is absolutely stunning! The decor, size of the house, private outdoor terrace, huge garden with pool for total relaxation. We decided it was too nice to go into town so explored during the day shopped at local supermarket and made the most of this beautiful setting which also has a spa room with hot tub but we didn't fancy it in 30 degree heat. I see from other reviews they were not happy with the host Mathieu. He was nothing but helpful and responsive to me on messages and we liked the fact the hosts are not in your face but leave you in peace.

Very self contained clean and well equipped. A great village. Not all Restaurants were open although it was early September and the weekend. Lovely small enclosed courtyard at the rear.

A beautiful historic house and generous host in the center of La Reole. The common dining area is warm and inviting. Bedrooms share bathroom facilities and the beds are comfortable. Julian is a magnificent host and attends to his guests' needs.

Beautiful rooms, lots of space, Very kind host who was a delight to talk to. The breakfast was the cherry on the cake: every pastry, juices and yogurts are made in house and taste like heaven.

Exceptionally beautiful with many types of trees, plants and birds in mid April! appreciated the small deck and lounge chairs outside the room and around the property.

The BEST stay we had in our journey across France! This place was so awesome that we didn't want to leave - we had booked for only one night. The host was friendly and we felt welcome in this beautiful estate surrounded by vines. The rooms are peaceful, beautiful and functional, and the bed really conformable. The air con was wonderful in this heat wave and the pool was out of a movie. We were treated to a fantastic meal, with lovely regional wine. We can't recommend this place enough!
