What a great place to stay! Really, really nice and comfortable, absolutely everything we needed. Clean and everything we could possibly need. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic!! Beautiful facilities. Just loved La Ségaliere so much! Thank you.

In our trip from Rocamodur to Saint Cirq Lapopie, we discovered this jewel! Chateau de Larnagol is a medieval castle located on breathtaking cliffs, overlooking the river! We rented an apartment in the castle on the fourth floor! The view from the rooms was fantastic! Stunning interiors, very elegant, historically preserved. Beautiful gardens! It feels like a dream! We were treated by the hosts with genuine care and hospitality. The owner gave us a tour of the mansion, which was a great submersion into history. Very romantic and charming! Looking forward to coming back one day!

The property is quite isolated in lovely countryside and is part of a family run farm. The accommodation is in a newly built building and older renovated buildings. There is a pool, jacuzzi and barbecue area, which we did not get to use because the weather was a bit chilly. They also hire out bikes and a camper van. We stayed for two nights, and our room was very large and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and although they spoke just a little English and us just a little French, we communicated well with some help from Google. Because of the isolated location, they provide a very reasonably priced three course evening meal, which we were not aware of. We should have booked this in advance but there was no problem including us. The great thing about this was that the meal was served to all the guests at the same time, and we all sat around a large refectory table. The hosts cooked the meal in the attached open plan kitchen and it was just like being at a dinner party with friends. Breakfast was served in the same room, but not all at the same time. It was a very good breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, homemade conserves and yogurt. We thoroughly enjoyed the restful and friendly stay. Wi-Fi is only available in the common sitting area. I am not sure if this is by design, but it was not a problem for us since the mobile phone signal was good in our room.

We loved the quiet location of the property, and it's only 10 minutes drive away from the bustling hip village of Cajarc for shops and restaurants. The owners were kind and attentive. We borrowed the bikes which were fantastic and enjoyed a cycle for a couple of hours. My daughter and I went into the cold tub (cow drinking bath) and she enjoyed dipping in then drying again. Overall we really enjoyed relaxing in the garden and exploring the beautiful surrounds in the short stay we had and we would like to return!
