FrancePavillon St Martin is situated in a lovely plaza in a lively village. It is a restored and reconverted historic manor with much charm and character. The owner was very welcoming, personable, helpful and solicitous; he attended to all our needs and even booked a dinner reservation for us too. It is so nice to be welcomed kindly and taken care of after a long trip! Really, the entire staff is lovely and they make you feel at home. Breakfast was a wonderful display of treats in the stone cave, a wonderful memory for our family. We are definitely coming back because of the beautiful rooms, kind personalities, and characteristic town to explore!

United KingdomThis was a return visit after a twenty year gap and was a most enjoyable three day stay. Despite a difficulty with chefs being unavailable the team created a menu that was a delight and of a high standard. There isn't a lift but the staff were very helpful in carrying luggage to our room. Madam went out of her way to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible and we thank her for it. It is a good base to explore the Dordogne and well worth a visit.

Souillac is a nice town with a small, historic centre, a good market (Fridays) and a few nice restaurants and bars. Not many sites itself but right in the middle of some great places like Rocamadour, Gauffre de Padirac etc.

It’s a small town just off the main A20 north/south route...
It’s a small town just off the main A20 north/south route connecting Toulouse with Limoges and destinations further north. Very pleasant and the surrounding area and river Dordogne is gorgeous - Lascaux is nearby for anyone interested in pre-history. We ate in the excellent restaurant situated in the same place as the hotel

We were there on July 14th and enjoyed a concert and the most impressive fireworks we have ever seen. Soullac is a lovely town with a good vibe and interesting sites to see around it. Don't miss the Grottes de Lacave!

Souillac is a handy stop on a long drive north or south through France as it is very close to the A20.
The town was very quiet when I was there (early March), but I imagine in summer months it will be much livlier, with many more of the cafés, bars and restaurants open for business

We only spent the evening here but were lucky enough to find some live music and a great bar in the square just outside our hotel

Really exceptional place - the hosts went over and above...
Really exceptional place - the hosts went over and above what you would expect. The cycling related rooms, themes and inspired antique furniture made for an interesting and informative stay - we browsed the posters and pictures for hours. Food in the cafe was very good - with combination of locals and tourists all welcome to enjoy the social spaces. Hosts also helped with our touring around plans and information about other local sites and ammenities. Will be returning again!
We ate out in the nearby town - about a 5 min walk from the house - really good quality in both restuarants and music both nights!
The Abbey is also worth a visit.

Second visit to le Quercy for us. We love it here. The man in reception is so helpful and seems like part of the furniture, long may he stay. The room and facilities were immaculate and the Wi-Fi worked well. Parking is internal with an overspill just 20m away. The hotel comes with a really nice swimming pool and was perfect when the temperature reached 40C. A good selection of restaurants were within walking distance.

The owners of the hotel were very friendly and helped me carry my luggage to my room. My bike was kept safe overnight in the garage.
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is next to the train station and reasonably close to shops and restaurants.
The breakfast which is an additional cost is superb.

Nice location, the staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel is clean but tired could do with a facelift. Breakfast was nice 😊. We found the bed a little small and not so comfy. Not expensive, it’s good for an overnight stay.

Excellent location in the center of Souillac. Very easy to park the car, too. Less than a minute's walk from the market and the medieval village center with lovely restaurants and outdoor seating.
