GORGEOUS! Great owners… great coffee… peaceful and a perfect stay. The owners take pride in offering quality, top notch service and amenities. I couldn’t be happier after a nightmare we had the same day with two separate hotels. (One cancelled on us, and one didn’t even answer the door of the chateau to let us in even before check in tome was over). I was so incredibly happy to have found this place, even if it wasn’t planned… we felt so welcome and amazing at the loving atmosphere and hospitality of the owners. Their love of their property radiates from within and from every corner. Everything is well thought out and comfortable. Even the products offered for bathroom use was all natural. Just an exquisite stay and I’m very thankful for them as they answered the phone very late at night due to our unfortunate circumstance and welcomed us with open arms! The property is a must see! Highly recommended!

The bathroom was excellent as we had booked a disabled room. The access was easy. The bed was huge and very very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was an excellent restaurant next door which just involved walking round the corner - no distance at all.

Fantastic location. Wonderful property. I didn't expect such a unique room. Second floor above a garden area. Beautiful village and easy walk to the beach and the Canadian Juno Beach Museum. A very worthwhile experience.

Perfectly clean, comfortable, nice staff, everything was amazing. Room was spacious and no problems at all. I especially appreciated the lady in the evening when we arrived. I was talking in french and she recognized I was not native, but that I had no big problems speaking and she continued speaking french. Great staff is worth gold.

The village is quiet and attractive, with a very good Italian style restaurant and a convenient small Carrefour supermarket. For those interested in history and/or architecture there is an 11th century church some way out of the village, beautifully situated in a glade in woodland.

Wonderful hosts. Great breakfast, croissants, breads, home-made yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals, cold cheeses and meats. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The village of Thaon is only 10 minutes from Caen and a good central place to explore DDay memoriablia. The stairs to our room were very steep at one point but our host was ready to help carry bags so no problem. Very quiet location.

The location in Thaon was perfect for our visiting the many memorials and museums of D Day. Our lovely host was very kind, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a cozy bed and lovely bathroom. The facilities were great and breakfast each morning was top notch. The overall setting was really lovely.

Stephen, our host, was amazing, tops, personable, informative. Our stay was unique as was Stephan's well trained dog named Unique. I highly recommend to stay at Stephen's well kept and newly updated to the max hotel/B&B and it is located close to the Normandy coast.

The host, accommodation, breakfast and location were all excellent. Thaon is an ideal location for touring Normandy. The village even hosted a music festival whilst we were there, which was great fun.
