Fabulous accommodation in a genuine rustic mountain village of Corsica. Very few tourists. Phillipe was a superb host, who couldn't have been more helpful. Comfortable bed, good natural airflow and light. Parking nearby no problem. Electric BBQ for outdoor cooking and washing machine both greatly appreciated. Supermarket 15 min drive away. Basic meals at Bar 100 metres away. Phillipe also kindly took us to his stunning secret local river swimming spot. Highly recommended.

The accomodation was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen downstairs is big and very pretty, you even have a little garden outside. The little village of Bastelica is very clean, quiet and welcoming, surrounded by amazing mountains and good hikes for nature lovers. The host was incredibly polite and welcoming with us; we ate dinner twice in hotel Artemisia, which he owns as well and which is located just 200 mt from a Bella Scusa, and the host prepared for us delicious local meals for an absolutely fair price (we even got a discount!). Last but not least, the breakfast included in the stay was delightful! Pan au chocolat, croissants, yogurt, bread, butter and amazing jams, we even bought many of them from him before leaving! Absolutely recommended

We absolutely loved the casual way this place was set up. Great views out over the surrounding mountains, superb rooms and excellent central facilities with really comfortable chairs dotted around a relatively small but decent pool. We enjoyed breakfasts set up in a lounge area and we were able to meet other guests in a a very relaxed manner. We were looked after so well by a lovely girl who didn't speak a lot of English but it did not matter at all as she made us all feel very comfortable and welcome. They also had a great honesty bar system which we took full advantage of when we hung around the pool for virtually a whole day.
