I spent an incredible 5 nights at this wonderful location. The staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful, punctual and the service was exemplary. Breakfast every morning with your cafe au lait made to order is a great way to start the day. The location is excellent, walkable to everything, The decor is gentle and understated, situated in a beautiful ancient building. Onsite parking - make sure to ask ahead of arrival. The room was large and very comfortable. I was able to meet the owner, and all the staff at their monthly artist reception which was quite a fun treat. I highly recommend for solo, couples, families and will return. Special thanks to Olivia, Victoria, Aman and all the staff who made my stay so memorable.

Brilliantly located just outside the centreville but barely a three to four minute walk away. The directions provided for parking by Francois were perfect along with GPS and the hotel was a quick 5-minute walk from the parking. We opted for the breakfast which was plentiful and good (yogurt, cheese, boiled egg, juice, coffee, croissant, bread and preserves). We had dinner there one evening and were very happy with our meals. Francois was a very cheerful and welcoming presence. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the British will be thrilled to know the room had an electric kettle.

The only problem with this apartment is that I never wanted to leave. It was beautiful in every way. from the stone walls to the art, and the tile in the kitchen floor, everything was so beautiful and well done. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful stay at In Situ! Cozy pension type layout with a couple of upstairs rooms right in the center of the pedestrian zone, next to castles, bars and shops. Marlene was attentive but let us do our thing as we explored Uzes and surrounding countryside. Can't emphasize enough how wonderfully peaceful it was to get away from the crowds and cars after two weeks on the road.

The town was almost at our doorstep, making it a very short walk to our favorite morning cafe, Ma Cantine. The main street was shady and pleasant with many restaurants with outdoor seating. We loved the cobbled stone streets with boutiques, boulangeries, boucheries, all leading to the Place aux Herbes where a huge Wednesday and Saturday market was held. Several ice cream cafes scattered along the way made for fun stops. The quieter, historic area with its winding and narrow streets, art galleries, a medieval garden, huge church on a high look-out over the area was a pleasant way to explore that section of town. A short walk takes you to a park with swings for kids, and to the municipal swimming pool where one can sign up for morning aquasize classes or just come to swim and sit. Bathing suits can be purchased from a machine if you didn't bring one.

The beauty of this place is breathtaking, the way it is nestled in between other small villages, and the markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays are not to be missed. I was especially touched by the friendliness of everybody I met, such kind people!

A picture book medieval walled village with beautiful open places, cafes, bar’s, restaurants, galleries, shopping, 2 cathedrals, and a resident Duke! The Saturday market is a big event with all sorts of traders from pottery, clothing, handcrafts, to wine, cheeses and locally grown produce. Wednesday market is more produce. The village has a beautiful park with Roman ruins and water spring being the source of the Pont du Gard which is 14 kms away … there is a bike track which follows the aqueduct. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars as well as specialty shops and galleries. It is a great location for exploring the area.

A pretty unspoilt town which does not feel like a tourist trap. Lots of local restaurants used by local people. Very good value for money. We loved Le Bec Fin, La Parenthese at the Hostellerie Provencale, Ma Cantine, Terroirs and Trattoria Bettina et Bettino. Great variety of shops selling unusual things. Fantastic art galleries. Excellent car park so close to the centre of town. Fabulous Saturday market. A town in which you can stroll morning, afternoon and nighttime and always see something different. Super park if you travel with a dog!

Uzes is really beautiful… a fabulous food market and many great places to eat and drink. Very beautiful old historic village to stroll around and take in the history. Pont du Garde nearby and lots of little villages to explore if you have a car.

Fantastic central location in a beautiful old building. The facilities are clean and lovely. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable and it has everything you would expect of a hotel room, with the added bonus of shared basic kitchen facilities downstairs. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. Parking is a 5min walk away but you can drop off and collect bags from 10m away.

Stunning flat in very picture perfect Uzes. Great location… short stroll into town. Free parking. Caroline upgraded us to lovely suite on 2nd floor. Very clean and charming. Small kitchen area with herbs, oil, spices etc that are often missing in holiday lets. Very nicely done!

Beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic location in the heart of Uzes. Our room was large and very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. AC and wifi were excellent. Staff were hospitable and helpful. Highly recommend.
