And the couple looking after us even forgave us coming late for breakfast - and provided gluten-free bread. We had to get used to the warmer climate and the a\c helped enormously ….we regret not having stayed at their own little restaurant because the others are very loud and busy….and above all, we regret to have stayed only one night.

Valbonne was recommended to us by a friend who's mum and dad...
Valbonne was recommended to us by a friend who's mum and dad used to live nearby. We stayed in the old part of Valbonne and it was charming. There is limited traffic, so it is a very safe place to walk around.
You are not far from Cannes and Antibes, Mougins, Gourdons, St Paul De Vence etc....
On Friday they have a market, which is very good though it may have been better as our stay fell on a bank holiday.
We loved the bakers and would get morning coffee there and sandwiches for lunch. I can't remember the names of all the places we went (?!) but we did eat and drink in the Relais de la Poste and drank in Roots.
The Relais de la Poste was very friendly, though our steaks were overcooked.......
I would definitely recommend the old part of Valbonne as a lovely place to stay.

Valbonne is very pretty but very touristy.
Valbonne is very pretty but very touristy. We were there on a Monday and nearly everything was closed. The market on a Tuesday is its highlight for visitors in the area.
We enjoyed Biot more which is also touristy but feels a little more genuine.

We had a very pleasant stay overall.
We had a very pleasant stay overall. The host was welcoming and punctual, which made check-in smooth and stress-free. The property is situated in a quiet area, ideal for relaxation, and we thoroughly enjoyed having access to the shared pool. The proximity to a supermarket was also very convenient.
However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. It seemed the previous guests hadn’t cleaned the dishes properly, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, a few minor repairs around the house are needed to bring everything up to standard.
Despite these minor issues, we still had a great time and would consider staying here again!

Valbonne is a great, convenient authentic French village in the heart of the French Riviera. It has a vast array of diverse restaurants, a local market on Fridays in the center square, and every convenience you will need to make your trip a memorable one. If you play golf or tennis there are multiple places nearby. The sea is close by and so are the mountains. Parking is an issue so you need to be opportunistic to find a good spot.

Valbonne is a lovely village where the main plaza and surrounding streets (all pedestrian) offer typical not elaborate but good food, a bakery, and array of boutiques. A few steps away (outside the old village) there are incredible food shops (pricy but worth it) peaceful and well maintained church, and all in all a place to bask in charm and views. Parking may be difficult and although available, within a five minutes walk.
The plaza is by far a favorite, people watching and mingling with locals while enjoying a drink or a meal. The gracious service will allow long stays while sipping a rosé.
Any of the four three restaurants in the plaza offers good selection, being the favorite Casa Rossa.

City is very nice, if you are by car you can go to St Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Monaco spending. But costumer service for English speakers is hard, they don't like that you speak English and some places wont treat you well because o that.

Just a really lovely hotel. Clean, quiet, and very comfortable. We had a room next to, or just above the restaurant (which is amazing, by the way), and even though it was fully booked and very busy every night, we didn't hear a thing. The soundproofing was excellent. Nice breakfast!

The hotel is very nice. Located in the centre of small village of Valbonne, it is small and charming. Personnel is friendly and welcoming. The bed linen, towels and the room itself are extremely clean. Bed and pillows are comfortable and the AC helps a lot when it is hot outside.

The location of the property was excellent. The property was very clean and perfect for two people. The location is perfect for exploring Valbonne, which is a lovely town and getting about to other places. You couldn't drive to the property but there was parking nearby.
