The room was beautiful with 12 foot ceilings. Well-placed, enormous mirrors made the room look much larger. The bathroom was also very large but the best part was that we had a deck that was as large as the room itself. Parking at first looked like it could be difficult but we were given a roped off stall right in front of the hotel. This is a very old building (mansion) that shows its age in things like the original oak floors and well-worn staircases but it has modernized the rooms to 21st century standards. We loved our stay.

This family hotel composed set in several houses is located in the village of Thonac, in the heart of the Dordogne region.It has a swimming pool, a private pond and a restaurant.

A beautiful old building with lots of charm, a rose garden and garden sitting space, friendly helpful staff, wonderful restaurant, comfortable room with medieval rooftop views, cocktails in the garden and convenient to the town open air market and shops and river walk.

Le Domaine du Terroir offers accommodations in La Chapelle-Aubareil. The hotel has a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.
