The hotel is well equipped and located. The staff were nice and friendly. We felt comfortable staying in the rooms.

This is a little hidden gem with a terrific location and a surprising price. We booked the family room because it was listed as last available. The host was so welcoming, helpful and generous. The room is not fancy but spotlessly clean, great parking at no additional charge and an easy walk to the old town as well as a lovely restaurant on the river.

Location, the staff, and they had room available to securely store our tandem bicycle.

It was all wonderful, but the staff specifically took time to mention some specific things we would like based on our age and interests.

First, the staff were exceptional. Both Stephenie & Ghozlane were welcoming, helpful, hospitable & friendly. The location is fantastic, right beside the Palais de Pâpes. We had a lovely corner room on the 5th floor with a view of the Palais. The breakfast was good, buffet selection of fruit, breads & pastries, eggs & sausages etc. Check in is 2pm which is early for hotels in France. Make sure you have the correct address for the taxi as there are 2 Mercure hotels very close to each other - they are within walking distance of each other but a bit of a hike with luggage. Staff however helped us with our luggage when we were dropped off at the incorrect address.

lovely stay I. beautiful top floor room with nice light and views. great location for exploring. very helpful staff who recommended some great restaurants before we got there, that we really enjoyed. parking was easy once I found it secure safe area

The hotel was excellent for our stay in Avignon. It was just a few minutes walk to the historic center, rooms were spacious and clean and breakfast was more than sufficient. But I have to say that what made the experience here memorable was the staff. Everyone was accommodating and eager to assist us in our needs. Our special thanks to Alicia, who not only kept us posted on our booking as we were running late for check-in, for making our check-in process smooth and seamless, and for the special assistance on ticket bookings for our next stop. Truly a great experience!

Staff was friendly. Rooms clean and the pool was a bonus. Dinner was very good as well close to train for my travel the following day.

Hotel exceeded our expecations. It is cheap but very very comfortable. We came with baby and recepcioner gave us extra big room with no additional cost. Hotel has quite big private parking FREE.

Super friendly owners. Gated car park. Great area to stay in - quiet, safe, lots of good restaurants and bakeries in walking distance. Local sites very nearby too. Couldn't recommend more!

Comfortable, charming rooms. Loved the courtyard for aperitifs and breakfast. Great location - walkable to the town centre and not far to go into Avignon. Lovely pool.

We stayed here because the price and location seemed good. It was actually great! What a surprise to be able to walk in the pedestrian area right in front of the hotel! Great little shops and restaurants all right there! The hotel was like staying in an old home, meandering hallways and beautiful breakfast room!

I got an unexpected upgrade and ended up in a huge room with 2 double bed and 2 windows to Rue de la République. Amazingly comfortable, huge TV, many channels, a table and chairs, and a nice bathroom. About the staff? Amazing as well. Recommend!

The location is perfect, near plenty of charming restaurants, and near the Pope’s Palace. The room was clean, efficient, and had comforts like a charging port and good AC. The bathroom was modern and the shower was good.
