This was one of our more memorable stays in Normandy. We were on a 5d bike trip and during cycling our other bnb got cancelled...... Initially we didn't notice this while cycling, so we were quite desparate for a place to stay. we booked this place with the dire request if we could also eat something; as we were quite hungry and there are no restaurants or dining possibilities nearby. They whipped up a delicious 3-course meal (the husband is a former Parisian chef) for us and greeted us with a bottle of rose, which went down like lemonade. The hostesses was very one of the sweetest and nicest i've ever met at a bnb, and we had so much fun hearing about their great endeavour of restoring the beautiful (and now slightly wacky) manor. The absolute top of our stay was; when we arrived we were greeted by a small gang of pugs with an English bulldog as their leader; they were the sweetest and most adorable band of doggies and we had so much fun with them. We couldn't be more happy by coming here; as we were in quite a pickle trying to find just any bnb. The place/manor was beautiful, filled with interesting trinkets and memorabilia from the many travels of the hostess (former stewardess). The breakfast was delicious! Absolutely great stay. If we are ever in the neighbourhood, we will absolutely visit again.
