The property is beautiful and in an amazing location. Room was very comfortable, there was even a TV on the wall opposite the bath. Great for a soak. Food was beautiful never had a menu with starter and main for breakfast and to enjoy it in the conservatory was delightful. Staff were all bright and cheerful and nothing was a trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Overall the area is picturesque. However the experience is spoilt in peak season due to too many visitors. Also the wine bar opposite the MacDonald hotel is not condusive to a lake district experience.
