Arrived via motorcycle and the hotel kindly offered a covered shelter behind the main building. The bike felt very safe here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from our patio of the bay was great. A 10-minute walk down the road and across the sand had us standing waterside. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was great. Continental breakfast was good but not many options.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities including lovely bath products and an outdoor fire. The breakfast was fantastic, all locally sourced food including smoked salmon and granola, plus coffee or tea. I’d come back to Wales just to stay here again!

Cardigan is a vibrant market town with a good mix of independent shops trading along side the chains. A good selection of eateries to suit all pockets and tastes. Also close proximity to nearby beaches and other attractions.

Car parking is extortionate, ended up in the free car park at Home Bargains. If the parking wasn't such a rip off then we probably would have stayed longer in town and looked around the castle etc.

Lovely independent shops in the town.

Lovely independent shops in the town. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Impressive castle overlooking the River. Wild life and farm parks locally worth a visit. Cashpoints along the High Street which is very convenient. Good to see all shops open and not closed down which is very common in a lot of places. Friendly people.

Cardigan is a beautiful, quirky, historic town which punches far above its weight. Go to the castle, browse the independent shops, have a drink (or a meal!) in the Black Lion, walk along the quay. Call in Crwst for the best pastries and bakery goods, take a slice of Welshness in Awen Teifi, mooch around the market stalls in the market hall. This is all within a 500 yard wander!

Beautiful area, Cardigan Town has an excellent market and castle and a Wildlife Park within a few miles, situated at the edge of the estuary. Cardigan Bay is exceptionally picturesque and dolphins sometimes are on view beside the Cliff Hotel

We had an amazing stay at Caban Coch. Ruth & John were amazing hosts and ensured everything was just right. We were both left speechless with Johns skill as he built these cabins himself. The cabins are beautiful, comfortable and perfect. Their location made it ideal for visiting Cardigan town and the beaches in the area. We have nothing but positive comments for Caban Coch, Ruth & John and have no problem recommending them 🥰 xx
