Perfect location, the rooms are all exquisite! Very spacious, comfortable beds, and fabulously decorated! We decided to go back for an extra night! The breakfast was delicious as well. We loved it!!

This is a beautiful, atmospheric hotel with very interesting history, having been the lodgings for Dambusters Squadron 617 during WW2. The grounds are gorgeous and the hotel has been well maintained inside - the original staircase is lovely and there is a drawing room with a fireplace for gathering. Ask to see the original bar, which contains documents, photos and memorabilia from that era. The meals were served in the large dining room and were wonderful - lovely, old fashioned service and exceptional food. Parking is on site and there is plenty of it. We are planning to return and stay longer when next we visit the UK.

It's a nice country village with others nearby, an excellent...

It's a nice country village with others nearby, an excellent area for historical sites particularly relating to the Royal air force. The Battle of Britain memorial flight visitors centre located at RAF Coningsby is really worth a visit as well as the site having a good viewing area for those interested in aircraft watching.
