We stayed in one of the Shepherds Huts and it was beautiful. We got lucky with the weather but with all the little touches it could even be great in colder months. The hot tub, the smart TV, the modern and clean decor of the hut and the view - loved it all!

The house was spacious, bright and comfortable. Everything was very clean, we slept well and the log fire was a great addition. The owners were so helpful and obliging, will book the house again next time we're in the area.

Perfect little gem of a place for a couple visiting Suffolk. It was immaculately clean, warm & cosy for a week’s break in February and had everything we needed to self cater. One of us particular dietary needs so it is important to us to be able to self cater comfortably. The owners made us very welcome on arrival & we felt we could easily contact them if a problem arose. We would highly recommend The Lily Pad & hope to return.

This accommodation was very disappointing.

This accommodation was very disappointing. The flat was rather dirty, a mouldy yogurt pot lid on the bedside table, cereal on the kitchen floor. No information was left except 2 phone numbers, neither of which were answered. We found another number on the Booking.com site which eventually rang us back. No breakfast, except for milk was left. The housekeeper we finally spoke to said that breakfast was only provided on the first night, but none had been left and we believed from the Booking.com site that breakfast was included on all nights. We complained that nothing had been left and after a while the kitchen of the pub downstairs delivered a carton of apple juice, some butter and some rather stale focacchia garlic bread from the night before. This was poor indeed. Nothing was delivered on the other 2 mornings. The access via a fire escape type staircase would be very difficult for many and some warning about this should have been included on the description
