We could not have been happier with our stay here. The location is magical; our room was spacious, well appointed, and extremely comfortable; the food was delicious; and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was hard to leave.

Wonderful location, clean quiet, and comfortable room. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Be sure to have dinner at the hotel next door, the amazing view was only exceeded by the quality of the food.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 15 mi from Oban. Furnace is 14 mi away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV.

It was increíble! The best place se stayed on our two week trip. Surrounded by Mountains, lake and sheep in the countryside. Beautiful views and superb housing. Very comfortable and full y equiped. Ossie at the fronta desk, was the best!

The breakfast was excellent, with a wonderful view, through an arch, of the loch. Melfort House was an interesting period house, decorated accordingly and possessed, to me, a lovely peaceful ambience. Matthew was the perfect host, very understanding(my late arrival), very informative(history of Melfort House, the surroundings etc) and easy to talk to, putting you at ease. I would certainly stay again.

Overlooking Loch Feochan with panoramic views of rugged mountains and tranquil islands, Knipoch House Hotel is just a short drive from Oban, the seafood capital of Scotland and a gateway to the Isles....

Breakfast was great! Setting and rooms out of a movie gorgeous! Sayward our concierge was exceptional in every respect and we enjoyed role playing in their first mystery dinner. Dinner was elegant and Paul and his wife, owners, deserve a round of applause for their warmth and hospitality!
