Oh my goodness. What a beautiful little town.
Oh my goodness. What a beautiful little town. Wonderful charity shops, beautiful houses, gardens and a stream to dip your feet in, charming cafes, and the North Downs Walk right round the corner from town! Marvellous, marvellous.

Farnham has lost its soul, now too much traffic directed chaotically around, you take your life in your hand crossing any of the road in the town centre. Too many coffee shop’s & restaurants, not enough of shops.

It is so easy to get onto the high street.
It is so easy to get onto the high street. This is excellent for me as I have difficulty walking.
We arranged to meet family and enjoyed a splendid evening meal on the high street.

We were in Farnham for a wedding, so didn't get a chance to...
We were in Farnham for a wedding, so didn't get a chance to do much sightseeing. Howevery, what we did see was beautiful, very green and lush with fabulous views. We would certianly be returning to see more of Farnham. Farnham castle sounds very intereting.

Farnham is nice and connected to Chawton House nearby, which is a great place to visit. The Revd Henry Austen brother of Jane was effectively the vicar of Farnham from 1822-1827. It has a fine castle and museum and Castle Street is lovely. Downing Street is about to be pedestrinised. St Andrews and its close is charming.

The Sculpture Park which is next to the Bel and Dragon is a...
The Sculpture Park which is next to the Bel and Dragon is a remarkable location and well worth the visit. There’s some 10 acres of grounds within which there are an astonishing number and large variety of sculptures.
Unique in my experience is the opportunity to buy any piece too.

Although a continental breakfast was shown on the web site it was not available at the hotel. The only option was a full English breakfast at £16.95pp. As we did not want a cooked option we did not want to pay £16.95 when we would only be eating cold choices. Disappointing. The location is excellent. The hotel is down a small country lane next to a very attractive large pond and it is very quiet area. The staff are all pleasant, polite and attentive.

Farnham House Hotel is just on the edge of Farnham making it really easy to get in and out of the town
The surroundings are very spacious and contribute to a very relaxed atmosphere
The staff were always polite and attentive and the breakfast was first rate

Lovely historic hotel right in the heart of Farnham. Rooms were spacious and well kept, plus seemed very quiet in the part we stayed in. Lovely restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
