The staff were all exceptional. Particularly Ben, who served us in the bar when we got back on Saturday night. What a lovely, friendly gentleman. Exceptional service. All breakfast staff and reception staff were also really friendly and helpful.

Our one-night stay at Harlington Manor was exceptional and left us wishing we had booked for longer. This beautifully restored 17th-century country house perfectly combines historic character with modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome by our hosts, whose hospitality was warm, attentive, and effortless. The manor itself is stunning, with period features, elegant furnishings, and a peaceful atmosphere that reflects its rich history. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing retreat after a day of exploring the UK, before catching our flight back to Australia. Breakfast was outstanding, featuring fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully prepared dishes that set us up perfectly for the day ahead. Every detail, from the presentation to the friendly service, demonstrated the pride the hosts take in creating a memorable experience for their guests. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape in a unique historic setting, Harlington Manor is an outstanding choice. It offers the perfect balance of heritage, comfort, and genuine hospitality. If you like accommodation that is a little different then...

If you like accommodation that is a little different then this fits the bill. If you want all mods cons and access to lots of local facilities then it’s probably not what you want. But is does have a railway station and is just off the M1 so accessibility is first class. The host is superb and breakfast was delicious .

A most beautyful house and gardens.

A most beautyful house and gardens. Period features and styles are gorgeous. A most welcoming feeling which makes you feel at home as soon as you enter. David is certainly a fantastic host and has a vast amount of local knowledge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, bathrooms are also spacious and modern. Breakfast is most delicious.

A good location for exploring local attractions ~ Woburn, Bletchley Park, Wrest Park. Close to M1 for transport links but not to the detriment of the overall look of the village. Plenty of pubs in the locality for eating out. Carpenters Arms had a good selection of wines/beers and the food was of a good standard/reasonably priced. We only stayed for one night but will definitely consider coming back.

A hidden gem.

A hidden gem. This place does everything that a chain hotel doesn’t. It’s small, offers personal service, quaint; however, everything you need works as well. Room was plenty warm enough, had the biggest bath I’ve ever seen and the place is full of the owner’s collection of antiques and curios set in nice grounds.
