We arrived late and the welcome was lovely. My husband is blind, it was dark and we were tired, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovey. Thank you Hermitage.

Quite possibly the best B & B I have ever stayed in . 5 Star Hotel touches for a fraction of a 5 star hotel price! You couldn't wish for anything extra in your room, from the toiletries to the tea, coffee, biscuits and a bottle of water and a choccy bar. Comfy bed, fluffy bed and and an amazing breakfast choice. What more can you want apart from safe parking and a lovely hostess ....you get both. ! Highly Highly recommended.

If you haven't been there before, it is a little tricky to find without satnav! But worth it as it is the best B&B that I have ever occupied. I have had worse breakfasts in a four star hotel and it was cooked to perfection. Later: they returned by post an item that I had left behind, which I take to be another big "tick" in the box and most would not have done in my experience.

Greeted by Susan and her husband, had a little chat about the area then showed us to our room which was as expected very spacious and clean, towels on the bed and a chocolate bar on each. Also bottled water which a lot of b&B's/hotels don't.

Always clean and comfortable and it was nice to see the heating was on when we arrived. A good food delivery service from 'Sunshine' in Ibstock was welcome after a long drive and not feeling like going out again.
