We loved everything about the place. Clean, peaceful and had everything we needed. The decor is quirky with old farm tools hanging on the walls and other items of interest. There was also a good selection of books. The owner was really friendly and helpful, and has a good sense of humor, our kind of person. He even sells honey from his own bees, I had quite a few jars to bring home, there are also other hand made items to buy too. The local pub was just as friendly and the food was great and good value for money as the portions are quite large. The location is pretty much central to most places around Pembroke, with a bit of drive to some.

Seems to be a new hotel that kind of invigorates this town. Great breakfast buffet and very nice restaurant and excellent food that won a few "best in the 'area'" awards. Reservations are strongly recommend. The hotel is right at the water. In one direction is the marina with bars and coffee shots. In the other direction within 5 walking minutes is the train station and a shopping area with Costa, Tesco, Boots etc.

This was an amazingly good hotel, great location almost opposite the castle, a beautiful room even if you had to walk down a mile of corridors, a really really nice bed for sleep that even outdid the bongs of the town clock on the second night, a great shower, nice friendly staff, good evening meals, decent breakfast, the staff will order you a taxi at very little notice, and all in all one of my best recent experiences

I have stayed here several times since the hotel opened; the welcome and service has always been warm and personal without being obtrusive. I am impressed by the attentiveness of the staff - they really do work as a team. I don't often ask about the area as I have a friend living in Milford Haven, but there is always a willingness to be of assistance. `there was a Harbour type Day Festival that I had overlooked, The manager mentioned it and are we glad he did.

A few shops around the harbour and some nice coffee shops...

A few shops around the harbour and some nice coffee shops and restaurants to spend a few hours browsing around. Very clean and nicely kept town with flower beds etc. Ideal for a short break for a night or two but not a holiday venue for any longer really, ideal hotel to meet friends and catch up. Town itself is set very high above the harbour so steep to walk up if you don't have a car.

Milford Haven is a thriving at the moment. The marina with its array of shops restaurants and bars make it a great place for a couple of nights away, also it has a fantastic Theatre. Well worth a visit Milford Haven

Milford Haven having a small working harbour & marina is a nice relaxing area for a short break. There’s lots to explore nearby including Tenby & Saundersfoot and the Pembrokeshire countryside. Within the town is also a McDonald’s & Costa Coffee, so great for food & drink on the go. The marina adds a bit of interest with its few shops & restaurants overlooking it. Will definitely come back here…

My mother was born and raised in Milford Haven before WWII.

My mother was born and raised in Milford Haven before WWII. It was so much fun for me to return after 43 years and to share it with my daughters. Milford Haven is filled with lots of history. It is close to St. David's Cathedral, Pembroke Castle, Little Haven and Broad Haven beaches. There are many places to explore and beautiful scenery to enjoy. The people there are very friendly.

There's a lot to do and see in the area.

There's a lot to do and see in the area. We could have spent at least two weeks and had lots of different walks and hikes to do and charming towns to visit like St. Davids, Pembroke, and West Haverford.

Host provided cheese, ham, cereals, fruit, nice seedy bread, variety of delicious cherry tomatoes, yoghurts, Welsh cakes - plenty to eat. Leone was very friendly and went out of her way to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. Room was very clean and comfortable and there was a fridge, kettle and nice toiletries in the shower room. This was big and the shower was great. There was a superb view of Milford Haven marina and of the docks which made for fascinating watching, greatly enhanced by the telescope which Leone lent us.

Large bedroom with nice balcony, extras like safe box and robes only usually only found in 5 star hotels. Large bathroom with separate shower bath. Varied selection for breakfast.
