I loved how clean everything was, the place had such a homely feeling to it and was decorated nicely! There is plenty of space and I also loved the little garden attached to the Annex. Beautiful surroundings and the area was so quiet. It's definitely somewhere I'd love to book again in the future!

Its a nice quite village.

Its a nice quite village. Only there for the fishing, a number of lakes not too far apart. The local pub, the Axe and Cleaver, good for food, and just a short distance down the road, also near a Co-oP.

I was there for a specific reason - as a stopover for walking a section of the King Charles coastal walk. It was ideal for that, and the host did say that they get quite a few people walking between Mablethorpe & Cleethorpes or vice versa. I used the convenience store in the village which was friendly and useful. The village seemed pleasant although I really only walked through it. There is a pub that does evening meals and a pizza place. I didn't use either but it was good to know they were there.

Cheery, well-designed, basic but efficient, newly decorated and spotless rooms. Sue is so welcoming, friendly, and helpful - a delight. Arriving after dark you may need to go to the house, behind the tackle shop.

Excellent place to stay.

Excellent place to stay. Bed and breakfast is in the centre of the village. Clean comfortable and spacious. We were visiting our son a few miles away so location was great. We had a meal in the local pub which was very good well cooked and value for money. (Axe and Cleaver). It is advisable to book at weekends. All in all a great stay and would certainly return.

I visited four years ago and was surprised to find even after Covid the village seemed to have more facilities and shops now than then. There are a few take-aways and a couple of pubs in the village. You need your own transport. No beaches within walking distance.

No facilities, maybe nice up to August / September but after that, I would go elsewhere. No where does hot food in the evenings despite travelling around and yet all the pubs have boards saying hot food. I understand it is out of tourist season but overall... very poor.
