Loved the spa bath. The food at the restaurant was amazing. Reception staff were friendly and absolutely fantastic and helped me get back a cardigan id left behind

A perfect little country pub stay with a personable service from hosts Louise & Martin. We chose this accommodation to stay the night before a day at Snetterton race circuit which is just 7 mins up the lanes from here - nowhere is closer! We arrived early evening on a Sunday and kitchen was closed but Martin suggested we could get a take away in and even provided us with cutlery and crockery - very accommodating indeed. Rooms were out the back in converted stables, lovely and clean, comfy and a quiet nights sleep. Will 100% stay again, thank you very much.

We stayed in one of the Shepherds Huts and it was beautiful. We got lucky with the weather but with all the little touches it could even be great in colder months. The hot tub, the smart TV, the modern and clean decor of the hut and the view - loved it all!

The house was spacious, bright and comfortable. Everything was very clean, we slept well and the log fire was a great addition. The owners were so helpful and obliging, will book the house again next time we're in the area.

Our room was comfortable and although the basin was blocked and shower difficult to set at suitable temperature both were attended to on our first day and both issues resolved. Had to use a heater in the room on first night but heating was then on for next two days but not Friday evening or Saturday morning which was the coldest period of our stay?

Rickinghall is situated in a pretty village.

Rickinghall is situated in a pretty village. The Bell Inn is ideal for travelling through open for breakfast / evening meals to non residents. Ideal for dog lovers walking. Restaurant food is good not basic. There is only 1 bus running through village. Need your own transport to get arounfdeasy. Not far from Diss.

Toilet was extremely squashed and was really low to the floor, awkward and uncomfortable. No flat surfaces to place items like a wash bag, nor hooks to hang clothes whilst using the facilities. More vegetables and fruit of a wider range bed to be available for all meals. Greater fish options and possibility of ordering from different menu. Maybe cut down number of menus and use chalk board for dailies.

We had such a lovely stay at The Bell in Rickinghall! The bed was ridiculously comfortable, the vibe cosy and welcoming, and the staff were charming and helpful. Breakfast? A proper full English that hit the spot perfectly. Dinner was spot on too. One of the best fish ‘n’ chips we’ve had. Our dog was over the moon, and we actually fell asleep to the gentle pub sounds — which says a lot, as we’re usually used to complete silence! Delicious food, happy pooch, comfy bed, and lovely staff — we can’t recommend it enough!
