I also liked the location, just outside of town but an easy walk. I liked that there was a bar and restaurant onsite. There's a beautiful garden in the back that I wish I had more time to explore and relax in.

United KingdomStaff were friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and also warm, which was good because the weather outside was absolutely foul! (Remember storm Darragh?) Breakfast was very nice, though the pricing on the menu had me wondering how much breakfast was actually going cost, until the waiter enlightened me that I was on an inclusive deal so it was just one set price no matter what I had.

Great friendly place , plenty eateries, shops and pubs. Lovely to stroll around the harbour and visit the castle. Clean streets and a lively buzz to the place. Good travel hub for getting to the rest of the island with buses arriving on time and timetables easy to read.

St Peter Port is an attractive town not over busy and with good bus connections to all parts of the island. It is hilly which adds to its attraction but is a challenge to the legs and heart.
There are good restaurants across the island but there is not an awful lot to do, especially if the weather is wet.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Long esplanades, nice harbour area with plenty of bars and eateries.
Great central base for getting around the rest of the island with easy to book ferries to Alderney, Sark and Herm islands.
There are many historic places of interest to visit with much influence from the WWII German occupation period, the Napoleonic wars and beyond. Castle Cornet on the main harbour was one of my favourites.
A great way to experience some of these sites is to get on an organised tour. I would recommend Tours of Guernsey to do this. They offer public and private tours and the guides are so knowledgeable.
If you like or would fancy an e-bike ride, Go Guernsey are the best for bike hire. They can deliver and collect directly to and from your hotel. Cycle and Surf on Alderney are good for bikes too.
My hotel recommendation would be La Collinette at St Jacques. A superb hotel that is unbeatable in all respects.
All in all a great place for a relaxed and interest in holiday.

It was very busy with traffic which I did not expect and was also surprised to see building all around the coast . Local bus service was excellent . Local people very helpful and super friendly . Clean tidy and the flowers all around were lovely . Lovely cafe along sea front . Lunch here . Food excellent at Best Western horel

St Peter Port is a cute town.
St Peter Port is a cute town. It has become noticeably run down in recent years with many shops, restaurants and hotels closing down. It was quite difficult to find restaurants open for our mid week stay.

Try the crazy golf. We had one at the golf course at St Pierre Park Hotel. Hilarious!

We stayed for 4 nights in a Seaview room bc which was quite large. A bit of traffic noise but not at night. You have the option of dining as they serve breakfast lunch and dinner which are reasonably priced. If not there is a Chinese and an C Italian restaurant nearby. We tried all and were not disappointed. Staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. Highly recommend as a place to stay in St Peter Port.

Keys were left in the door. Great to have the welcome pack. Bus stop by back gate excellent to save the walk back from St Peter Port harbour.
