Very friendly, helpful and congenial owners and staff. Very busy pub, great meals and great service. Excellent band played for a couple of hours after the football games finished. Great night. Overnight parking in the nearby council carport ws just 50 pence from 6.30 pm to 8 am or save yourself the hassle with 3 pound for parking for 24 hours. Also great coffee shops and a quirky hardware giftshop and shops etc nearby. Top turnout.

The rooms were absolutely adorable with the wood beams and the white walls. Our favorite part, however, was the staff! So helpful unfriendly… Felt like part of the family. We also ate in the restaurant, which was excellent!

THE VILLAGE WAS FULL OF BUNTING READY FOR THE VILLAGE FETE WHICH WAS TO TAKE PLACE ON THE 4TH JULY. THE PUBLICANS WERE ORGANIZING THE FETE SO THEY WERE VERY EXCITED. THERE WAS A GREAT ATMOSPHERE - HOW YOU IMAGINE A TYPICAL ENGLISH VILLAGE WITH ITS CHURCH AND ITS PUB.

Slinfold is a nice village which deserves a bit of peace.

Slinfold is a nice village which deserves a bit of peace. Nice war memorial and church, friendly local shop. No museums or theme parks. The local Sussex BID team are in charge. I was neutral and don't really stare into people's gardens. Just ticked off a war memorial and church. The former Sotheby's auction premises at Billingshurst are drivable and actually can be reached by bus and walk. There were quite a few interesting bits of flora including a daff I had never seen before and an orchid by the stream.

Old world charm. Clean, comfortable, lovely food, and exceptionally friendly staff. There are lovely walks in the surrounding countryside and Slinfold is a pretty little village, with a nice pub, just 10 a 10 minute walk away. We loved it and will be going back!

I didn’t like anything! The hotel was shut when I arrived and I wasn’t able to get in - check in and therefore stay the night. I left two messages and called a number of times. No one has messaged me or been in touch

The village & location is lovely. We used to live in West Sussex & know Slinfold so we knew the location is a beautiful spot anyway. We've stayed at the caravan site there many times so we'll use our caravan next time.

Excellent host! Excellent bacon sandwich for breakfast, excellent coffee, lovely location and house in the countryside. Anything we requested we received without question. Much nicer than a chain hotel.
